Fairs & Events
January 2nd, 2025
The starting point for creating a collection of footwear, clothing, accessories, furniture, or other products is Inspiramais, which will take place on January 21 and 22 in Porto Alegre, Brazil, at the Fiergs Events Center. The event will feature 16 leather suppliers—ranging from bovine to an extensive variety of exotic leathers—offering designers, buyers, and brand managers a highly curated selection of business partners. Other materials integral to the fashion supply chain will also be showcased, concentrating all resources needed for collection development in one space. Free registration is available here: www.inspiramais.com.br.
Inspiramais is promoted by the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB), the Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear, and Artifacts (Assintecal), the Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association (Abit), the Brazilian Furniture Industry Association (Abimóvel), and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil). The event is executed through sectoral projects conducted by ApexBrasil in partnership with these entities: Brazilian Leather, Tex Brasil, Brazilian Furniture, and Brazilian Materials.
The materials developed for this edition of Inspiramais are centered around the theme Burnout – Season 2026_I. This creative approach transforms the concept of exhaustion into a celebration of style. In this collection, the theme embodies a creative and positive force, an ode to resilience and the reinvention of an exhausted landscape. The concept invites us to delve into the shadows of difficulties, revealing the beauty that emerges from adversity and celebrating the hidden strength within each of us.
Altogether, more than 150 exhibitors from various regions of Brazil will participate in Inspiramais, offering 1,200 material launches. In addition to the commercial exhibition, the event will feature trend spaces (such as the Leather Preview showcase) and an extensive program of lectures focused on sustainability, efficiency, and innovation.
