With a Record Number of Leather Exhibitors, Inspiramais Is Coming Soon to São Paulo
Fairs & Events
July 4th, 2025
The upcoming edition of Inspiramais will feature the highest number of leather exhibitors in the past ten years: 19 tanneries will showcase their latest developments on July 15 and 16 at the Pro Magno Events Center in São Paulo (SP). In addition to leather, the event will include the launch of thousands of other materials for fashion, furniture, and automotive collections, establishing Inspiramais as the starting point of the production chain for these sectors in Brazil and Latin America. Free registration at www.inspiramais.com.br.
Inspiramais is promoted by the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB), the Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Manufactured Goods (Assintecal), the Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association (Abit), the Brazilian Furniture Industry Association (Abimóvel), and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil). The event is part of sectoral projects led by ApexBrasil in partnership with these organisations: Brazilian Leather, Tex Brasil, Brazilian Furniture, and Brazilian Materials.
In addition to the commercial exhibition of materials for the industry — with leathers ranging from bovine to exotic (such as fish and python) — Inspiramais offers a robust programme filled with content, inspiration, and networking opportunities. The agenda includes lectures on trends and consumer movements across both days, curated exhibitions featuring standout materials (such as the Preview do Couro, which presents hides that anticipate upcoming fashion trends), and spaces dedicated to emerging talents, as well as innovative and sustainable projects.
This edition of Inspiramais is based on the theme Human, which sets the tone for the 2026_II season, with the word "hope" at its core. The theme reflects that in times of global crises and uncertainty about the future, hope emerges as a vital force — essential for reconnecting with what makes us human: our sense of community and our capacity for transformation. This feeling will be reflected at Inspiramais, through the choice of materials that favour comfort and movement, and through the emphasis on tactile and welcoming textures.

About ApexBrasil
The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) works to promote Brazilian products and services abroad and attract foreign investment into strategic sectors of the Brazilian economy. To reach these goals, ApexBrasil carries out a variety of trade promotion initiatives aimed at expanding exports and enhancing the global image of Brazilian products and services. These include trade and prospecting missions, business matchmaking events, support for Brazilian companies at major international fairs, and visits by foreign buyers and opinion leaders to learn about Brazil’s production structure. ApexBrasil also works in coordination with public and private actors to attract foreign direct investment (FDI) into Brazil, focusing on sectors strategic for enhancing the competitiveness of Brazilian companies and the country.
About CICB
The Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB) is the organisation representing companies that produce leather in Brazil. Since its foundation in 1957, CICB has worked to foster growth, qualification, strength, and unity within the sector. Sustainability is the core guiding principle of the organisation, which promotes projects in technology and professional training, institutional dialogue with government entities, alignment between industry priorities and public policy, commercial promotion of leather, and defence of sector interests. CICB also focuses on reputation building, image promotion, technical and design qualification, research, and market intelligence. Additionally, it fosters institutional representation and dialogue across the production chain and coordinates national working groups — such as those on Traceability and Communication — with members throughout the country.
