Events will take place in Taquara (State of RS, Brazil), on 23rd and 24th July, and in São Paulo on 30th and 31st July

A very special edition of Inspiramais is set to take place soon. In fact, there will be two editions. In Taquara (State of RS, Brazil), on 23rd and 24th July (at the Faccat Events Centre), and in São Paulo (State of SP, Brazil), on 30th and 31st July (at Casa Petra), developments in materials for fashion collections will be showcased, with a special emphasis on leather. There will be 9 tanneries exhibiting in Taquara and 14 in São Paulo. Register for free here: www.inspiramais.com.br

Inspiramais is promoted by the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB), the Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Manufactured Goods (Assintecal), the Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association (Abit), and the Brazilian Association of Furniture Industries (Abimóvel), in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil). The event is carried out by sectoral projects conducted in partnership by ApexBrasil (Brazilian Leather, Tex Brasil, Brazilian Furniture, and Brazilian Materials).

The double edition addresses the logistical demands caused by the recent floods in the Rio Grande do Sul region, which have made access to Porto Alegre (the State Capital, where the event traditionally takes place) difficult. As a vital link in an extensive production chain, Inspiramais resolved the transportation issue by meeting the visiting public from the footwear, accessories, furniture, and other industries in Taquara and São Paulo, two significant hubs in the sector in Brazil.

This way, designers, buyers, company directors, journalists, and students will have access to over 1,000 new releases for their creations. Among the tanneries, there are suppliers of bovine leathers (both with hair on hides and various finishes) and exotic leathers (such as pirarucu and python).

The central theme of this edition's collections is Periféricos (Peripherals). The elements guiding this trend reflect a redefinition of the understanding of identities and the importance of countries historically located in the peripheral zones of the so-called first world. The theme "Peripherals" addresses not only the geographical but also the cultural sense of the word, highlighting the significance of these regions in creating narratives and influences in the fashion industry.

In addition to the presentations at the individual stands, leather also takes centre stage at the Preview do Couro exhibit (Leather Preview), with early trend forecasts and experimentation in art, technique, and knowledge about hides.
