Sustainability takes center stage in the leather industry in Brazil at the CICB Sustainability Forum 2025

Sustainability is at the forefront of the leather industry, and the CICB Sustainability Forum 2025 reaffirms its position as the leading platform for ideas and dialogue in the sector in Brazil. On March 19, 2025, during the 48th Fimec (International Fair of Leather, Chemicals, Components, Machinery, and Equipment for Footwear and Tanneries) in Novo Hamburgo, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, experts, companies, and institutions will gather to discuss the event's central theme: "Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) in the Leather Industry." Registrations will open soon.

The CICB Sustainability Forum is organized by the Brazilian Leather project, a partnership between the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil). Since its inception in 2012, the CICB Sustainability Forum has established itself as a key platform for discussing the future of leather. For the third consecutive year, it will take place within Fimec, a landmark event celebrated across the industry for its focus on innovation, technology, and its connection with professionals shaping the sector.
