The starting point for developing collections of footwear, apparel, accessories, furniture, and other products is
Inspiramais, which will take place on January 27 and 28, in Porto Alegre (RS), Brazil, at the FIERGS Events Center. The event will feature 15 leather suppliers, ranging from bovine leather to a wide variety of exotic leathers, enabling designers, buyers, and brand managers to make a highly precise selection of business partners. Other materials that make up the fashion supply chain will also be exhibited at Inspiramais, bringing together, in one place, the entire ecosystem for collection development.
Free registration is available here.
Inspiramais is promoted by the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB), the Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Manufactured Goods (Assintecal), the Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association (Abit), the Brazilian Association of Furniture Industries (Abimóvel) and Brazilian Trade and and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil). Sectoral projects conducted by ApexBrasil with the entities: Brazilian Leather, Tex Brasil, Brazilian Furniture and Brazilian Materials.
The material development for this edition of Inspiramais followed the theme Turning Point – Season 2027_I. This creative approach highlights the development of surfaces and finishes inspired by sensory experiences and contextual interpretations. The reflection underpinning this cycle draws on the thinking of Fritjof Capra, who challenges the Cartesian worldview and proposes a holistic and interconnected understanding of reality.
In total, more than 150 exhibitors from different regions of Brazil will take part in Inspiramais. In addition to the commercial exhibition, the event will feature trend areas—such as the Leather Preview Exhibition—and an extensive program of talks, especially focused on sustainability, efficiency, and innovation.
